Aloha, My name is Brayden Hiraki and I am a 2021 LHP from Mililani, Hawaii. I am 5'11'' and about 165 lbs. I enjoy working out and love to go to the beach to surf and dive. I also enjoy PC gaming but hanging out with my friends is what I like the most. I attend 'Iolani Schools, a private college preparatory high school in Honolulu. I am primarily a pitcher but I also play outfield and 1st base occasionally. My high school coach is Kurt Miyahira and my travel baseball coach is Nate Trosky. My other coaches include Benny Agbayani, Keith Komeji, and Duane Eldredge. I always thought baseball was the sport I planned to play as long as possible because I was playing it since I was 4 years old. Mililani always had good teams as I was growing up. Now that I am in high school, I had many opportunities to play baseball outside of Hawaii. I played in California, Arizona, Washington, Virginia, and Japan. I played on very successful teams like Waipio's Little League and even won a Babe Ruth World Series Championship as 14s. with Thunder. I was the championship game winning pitcher and I threw a complete game shutout. As a freshman I went to Arizona and I was on a travel team, TB SoCal, that won the Freshman Arizona Classic tournament. I am a team player and try to be the best I can in all that I do. I am very coachable on and off the field and my teammates tell me that I am fun to be around. I try to keep up with my school work and grades cause I know that good work in the classroom is as important as good work on the field. 'Iolani is one of the toughest private schools in the state and I strive to do my best. School is tough but I know it is the best opportunity for me to be at a school like 'Iolani. I hope to find the right college that fits me the best academically and with the right baseball program too.
